YOU FOUND ME! :P

The doctors office, 2004; You're playing Mario Land on a Gameboy Color. Why do I remember this? NO IDEA BUT I DO!

"But CorBin those are two GBAs" wouldn't of been symetrical and too tall!

This console was fun, I didn't collect for it but got most of my games for it from my Uncle, trading with friends or Birthday Gifts as a little dude. I only remember a handful of games across the whole gameboy line to which I will chaotically list;

Lego Starwars 1, Super Return of the Jedi, Pokemon Leaf Green, Kirby & the Amazing Mirror, Donkey Kong Land 2?, Mario Land, Mario Golf, Wario Ware and of course the NES classics.

I never really made it far in these games, as some of them were my Uncles and still belonged to him at the time or because I would have been extremely young and didn't know what I was actually doing. Some even were just on a friends console when we'd be hanging out. Anyways, here's some I want to talk about;

Mario Kart: Super Circuit

Cheese Land was a good track. But with 4 Bowsers Castle tracks, I love those the most. Shy Guy Island has my favorite aesthetic and hazzards. -- Sky Garden can go burn.

Never got to play multiplayer with this one. However Shy Guy and Cheese Land are in 8 and that makes me happy. In Super Circuit Toad was okay but Yoshi is my main in most Mario Kart titles.

Madagascar: Operation Penguin

This game, I loved this game. I beat this one 100% as a kid; Twas a big deal to me at the time. I love Penguins and these one's are pretty cool too. There's a level that is the Christmas short from the first Madagascar movie you get near the end I believe? (It's been too long). I believe there's some back-tracking involved with some of the abilities.

The title theme is my favorite track. I still judge games based on replayability and how much you can "mess around". This game features a hub-world and some race tracks, it's mostly a collectathon but there are some stealth levels.

WHY IS MAX PAYNE ON THE GBA?

And another question, why was it good?

Max would be all like "It's cold, it feels like independence day" and then slow-mo shotgun around a corner but on your gameboy this time. Fixed cameras looking like he's clearing out houses in the Sims.

Rainbow Six

There is a game for the GBA, came out with lockdown or was lockdown. I only played the one released with the first game for the Gameboy Color. It's an okay game;

The AI team-mates are as good as you can make the paths for them. The planning stage is in this version. My favorite map is the Jungle and the Oil Rig. I don't remember what they're actually called, the maps are mostly the same as all other versions of the game.

Pokemon LeafGreen

This one. I liked to just mess around and catch pokemon I would've been like four. My favorite pokemon for this one are Poliwrath, Golbat, Pinsir and Raichu. That list is mostly consistant unless I could get a Crowbat from Golbat.

I really just caught what I thought looked cool at one point. Didn't even check stats cause I always said it will eventually be good anyways.

My favorite town was the one with the Game Corner(Celadon City) and then the one with the Big Store(Saffron City).

Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island

This game is great, almost a direct port but with the arcade Mario Bros. also on the cart.

Didn't have a SNES as a kid so this is what my little brother had. I just played it a handful of times back then. I love the bosses Burt the Bashful, Rapheal the Raven and Sluggy the Unshaven.

Almost everyone I've talked to knows of the game, even if just vaguely. The art style is inspirational and the map theme is a banger.

Gameboy Player

A thing you'd slap on the bottom of your Gamecube to play any Gameboy Game. It was pretty cool. You'd have some frames you could put around the screen that were cool. I didn't get it until years later. Pokemon on the big screen was cool, along with any of the NES classic games.

Games with "tilt controls" where you tilt the system still technically work :P It feels like a cop-out to talk about the NES titles on the GB shrine so... I won't
